The Primus™series of analog transmitters are fully solid-state transmitters offered in both air and liquid cooled, and are based on Linear’s universal platform to operate in any analog TV standard. At the heart of each transmitter is the DigiAna™ modulator, which takes the analog signal in, converts to digital, and performs the pre-corrections before converting back to analog – all of which provides a better quality level of analog signal.
The transmitters incorporate Linear PowerControl™ technology, providing efficiency and unsurpassed power density in its class. With power levels ranging up to 64kW, The Primus line offers exceptional power in a small footprint. Straightforward installation and uncomplicated maintenance means minimum OPEX throughout the product’s life-cycle.
